Missing Pluto (134340)
©Jerry Axson

I miss Pluto in the sky tonight,
she’s out there spinning all alone,
turning circles on the edge of forever,
she’s more than just a frozen stone,

as a boy they taught me about her...
and it took hold over me...

I can’t stop thinking about Pluto,
so far away and so lonely,

I miss Pluto in the mornings,
the pillow talk we used to have,
it seems to me I was always up -
while she was just a little sad,

tender are the mercies - you must learn to show...
to save someone from fading away...

I only hope I don’t forget you,
in some careless human way,

I miss Pluto every morning...
I miss Pluto through the day...
I miss Pluto in the evenings...
drifting in the milky way...

about

Jerry Axson Columbia, South Carolina

To me simplicity is the root of all great thoughts. The secret thrill for me, the architect, is delivering that thought with unobtrusive complexity. Writing songs and composing music satisfy my soul and because of this I know exactly what I am designed to do, it’s just that simple. - Jerry Axson ... more
